I THINK this was due to KAV. More about Leo. It told me KAV was off, then a MS box appears reading there's an error. Be aware, upon inserting the CD the XP setup screen may appear, this is not a part of sfc /scannow, rather it is being invoked by autorun.

David August 29, 2007 12:09 PM My hp pavilion with xp media center edition is about a year old and it also has the export version.
